Can you please provide/indicate an IBS model for LVDS drivers on PXI-6561?

Hi,

I am working on modelling a signal integrity test done using PXI-6561
and a custom hardware. To have a believable simulation results,
I need an IBS model for the LVDS drivers and receivers on the 6561.

Either the model, or the information about which drivers and receivers
were used on the board (manufacturer and model number) would be
very helpful.

Could not find this information in the specs or manuals...

Thank you very much,
vitaliy

Hello Vitaliy,

I understand that you are interested in the manufacture and model of the driver and receiver on the 6561 board.  Please let me know your reasoning why this information is needed to validate the simulation results.  I am also interested in what specific specifications of the driver and receiver you are most interested in obtaining.

Dear Samantha,

Let me try to rephraze my message. Perhaps it would be helpful.

What I am doing is a signal integrity test. The LVDS signals
from the NI board are travelling through a fairly long traces
on custom hardware in the test. The quality of the signal
(shape, amplitude, jitter) along the traces depends on both
the PCB layout of the custom hardware, and on the driver/receiver.

What I ultimately want is the IBS model for the driver/receiver.
This is what my simulator (HyperLynx) requires. The results
would be bogus if a wrong model is used.

Please note that IBS is an industry-standard format, and
most chip manifacturers provide such a model. So,
if you could indicate the chips used, I will most likely be able
to get the info.

Thank you very much,
vitaliy

Hello,

For future viewers, if you are also interested in the same information (an IBIS model) ... please create a service request with NI Technical Support.  The link below will allow you to create a service request online.  Each model request will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
