Can someone look at this and tell me why I have an error in wiring just from adding another cursor?

I wanted the attached VI to have three cursors and when I added the thrid the VI showed an error on the wiring from the waveform graph 2 after adding the third cursor

I opened the VI in LabVIEW 7.1 and was not able to get the wiring error.

I typed in a new name in the Cursor legend to get the new cursor. I also added a cursor in the property page and could not get the error.

What version of LabVIEW are you using? I have attached the code and can save it to another version if you need me to. Are there different steps you are taking, that I should try to see the issue?

Thank you for your response! I am using 7.1. It's like a mystery, but the cursor phonomenon went away. However, if you look at the bottom of the graph I have some numbers that I have no idea what they are in relation to what I am capturing. When I change the limits from 0 to 5 which is the time I need to capture it changes back to the 3.......... number. Any ideas

Ooops, do you know how I can save a copy of the collected data on the graph for later analysis?

That number comes from the timestamp on the waveforms. If you right click and tell it to ignore the timestamp you should be ok.

I agree with the answer to the other posting on this. You should use the file VIs to save the data. If there is info about the graph then just add that to the file as well.

Fantastic! Thank you for your help!!
Where would I put the "VIs" and what would I use.

The easiest VI to use would be the write to LVM express VI and in your case put it in the stop case. Therefore when the data is all collected and graphed you save it to a file. You can set how you want the data to be saved.

If you want smaller files you can use the write to spreadsheet VI, however you will need to use the Get Waveform Components to get the Y data out to save.
