Can labVIEW 5.1 talk to DAS-08 card?

I have a DAS-08card from measurement computing and labVIEW 5.1.This is an educational project and again low in budget.I need to communicate DAS-08 with labVIEW . Can this be done?Please suggest.

The easiest thing to do is contact Measurment Computing to see if they have a LabVIEW 5.1 driver for this card. Otherwise you will need to implement a rudumentary driver using call library nodes calling their dll for the card.

Please tell me something more about calling dlls for the card. The labview version is 4 and they dont have driver for it.

LabVIEW 4 is pretty old. I do not know if it even has a call library node. You may want to look in the LabVIEW user manual for more assistance with the call library node. Once you have read about it there (or verified it exists) you can download a document from NI's site called using external code in LabVIEW. Although it will be for a version newer than 4, I imagine the information would still apply.
