Can I use labview to access to Internet?

i can not use this vi to open the following link:
http://finance.sina.com.cn/realstock/company/sh600022/nc.shtml

but i can use the vi to open some other link.

i don't know where the problem is. Surely the vi stops before timeout.

for me this links works, see attachment - but the website is containing quite a lot of chinese characters

I assume you used it unmodifed.  I accidently left the URL as an indicator, change it to a control, and delete the diagram constant.
Once I did that, it worked fine to read the url that you gave me

at first, i write a vi just same as the ds_read.vi. But  it doesn't  work.  No  data read at all. I set timeout to be 100,000 and still fail.
is there any relationship with the windows firewall?
if not, why can i open some links and can not other links?

And even for the same link: http://www.ni.com, sometimes it can get data and sometimes it doesn't.

my version is Labview7.1
