Can I use external trigger to control PCI6731 and further synchronize four channel output?

Hi, please help if my question is clear

I has a PCI 6731 connected with BNC 2110 board to providing BNC anologe output singal (a pulse train). I want to use a external trigger train (TTL, ~1V, risin edge is sharp, and for example, 1kHz) to control the PCI 6731 output rythme (as 1kHz). Is this possible? How to connect and how to wrtie the code?

Thanks a lot for your time to read and help.

Hi rumorhasit,

I was wondering, what are you planning on using as the external device to act as a trigger for your pulse train?

It might be easier if you use the digital output to generate the pulse train instead of the analog.

Have you already looked through the LabVIEW Example Finder in LabVIEW at Help->Find Examples? There are a number of good examples having to do with pulse trains. Browse to this folder:

Hardware Input and Output->DAQmx->Generating Digital Pulses

Hope that helps!
