Hi awanish S,

I have looked at the requirements of Simulation Interface Toolkit(SIT) 5.0. To run this toolkit you need a minimum of Labview 8.6 Development System installed on the same system.

You can only use up to SIT 4.0 with Labview 8.5 as Toolkit 5.0 is not officially compatible with Labview 8.5.

From the readme file of the system requirements of SIT 4.0 it states "To install the LabVIEW Simulation Interface Toolkit 4.0, you must already have installed National Instruments LabVIEW 8.5 Full or Professional Development System on the same computer".

I hope this helps.

Hi there,

If you want to use SIT 4.0 with Labview 8.5, then I would encourage you to purchase SIT 5.0 via our Sales Representatives as you are then entitled to previous versions of SIT with this purchase.

SIT 5.0 does ship on the same DVD as Labview 8.6, however it is not activated as it is an additional extra. You are entitled to a 30 day evaluation trial of SIT 5.0 on Labview 8.6.

I would encourage you to contact our Sales Representatives if you would like to look into this further.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for ur suggestion....

In last one yr, i'hav mailed many times to our local Area Centre(India) of NI for Evalution CD request of LabVIEW...but they didn't responded to a single mail.i don't know these guys ever check d mails or not...neither they organize seminar or inform us(registered users) via mail....so u can see how irresponsible they are...

And about Ordering the products...I'm a Final Yr Engg. Student not Owner of a Company to buy Costly products such as LabVIEW...

anyway thanks for ur help and support...
