Calling Arduino Functions for a Labview GUI

I'm working on a class project for my mechatronics class and my group programmed our robot in Arduino (we are using an Arduino Duemilanove).  We want to create an Labview GUI which will be able to call the preset demo functions we wrote in Arduino by pressing a button in the Labview UI.  We also have a manual control function which we want to be able to switch back and forth between using Labview.  Does anyone know how to implement this?  I am fairly new to Labview, so sorry for my inexperience.
