I'm not aware of any other documentation except what ships with LabVIEW. There may be some in one of the third-party books. You can find more information on them here. In case you're not familiar with the shipping documentation, go to the help menu and select "Search the LabVIEW Bookshelf". The manual you want is called "Using Exteranl Code in LabVIEW". There is a step by step procedure there that uses at least one of the example C files that ships with LabVIEW. You might also want to look at using DLLs instead of a CIN.

In addition, here is an on-line Tutorial which takes you through the steps of creating a CIN. It would be a good first step for you. I would also suggest using DLLs instead, as Dennis mentioned. They are MUCH, MUCH easier to use in LabVIEW.

Here is a tutorial for accessing DLLs from LabVIEW. The nice thing about doing it this way is that you do not have to build anything special for LabVIEW. You just take the DLL that you have been given and call it directly. With CINs, as you will find when you look into them, you have to build certain tools before you can call them.
