hi

I am using labview 7.1 to control a CBT of R&S v4.37

i would like to confige the rf level to adjust acoording to the power level automatically

that is a valid option and can be config manually

but I cannot find the driver or the scpi command to do it using labview

any ideas?

Hi Shai,

How exactly are you communicating with the device (i.e. GPIB, serial, etc) and what protocol in software are you trying to use?  Also, what is the exact device you are communicating with?  With a little more information, I might be able to help more with this issue.

Either way, you will probably need to consult the manufacturer or the user manual for the device, as the command you are looking for would be device specific.

I hope this helps a little, but let me know a little more about your application, and hopefully we can get things working.

thanks for the reaply

i am using GPIB with Labview 7.1 to comunnicate betwwen R&S CBT and TI bluetooth device

it is working smoothly except for i cant find the command to set the rf mode to auto,to prevent changing it manully when working with different

output levels

Shai,

SCPI commands are general, so there will not be one that performs the exact function you are looking for.  As I mentioned before, you will need to contact the manufacturer or consult the manual in order to obtain device specific commands.

I am sorry that I don't have any more information for you, but you are asking for information specific to a device that I do not have firsthand experience with.  Good luck getting everything up and running.
