Built LabVIEW Executable without MAX

Is it possible to deploy an application built with the application
builder to a computer that does not have MAX installed?

You don't need MAX but if you're using VISA, then you'll need at least VISA run-time engine. If your're using DAQ, then you'll need NI-DAQ. If you're using GPIB, then you'll need NI-GPIB. MAX is a utility program for configuring NI hardware and software and is not the drivers. You don't mention which component you're using but if there's harware involved, then you need a driver for it. Applications with only serial communication can be the easiest to install. If instead of VISA, you use the serial compatability VIs, then you all you need do is install the file serpdrv in the same folder as your built application.

I posted my message without thinking about it much, sorry. My
application does use a DAQ card. I guess I am asking if there is a
way to install an application and the associated DAQ dll's without
actually installing NI-DAQ? I would like to be able to install my
application on a host computer with the minimum amount of impact (hard
drive space, etc.).

Thanks!

TLE,
you must install NI-DAQ on the target machine, and you need to copy the daqdrv file (for LabVIEW 5.1 and earlier) from the original development machine to the target machine.
You can also create an installer for your application that would include the NiDaq692.exe.
