Building example project, said windows.h missing

Hi,

It would be helpful if you describe the system specification that you are having when you have the errors:

1. Operating System

2. LabVIEW version

3. Other software such VS or C++

For kurok,

After you finish uninstall VS6, have you tried reinstall LabVIEW? for some cases it will work. Let us know if you managed to solve the problems!
Sincerely,

Oh sorry, I use the same versions as turbot does, therefor I didn't mention it.

I actually solved the problem by reinstalling windows, as it often is the fastet way at such problems. No more problems yet, but I'm afraight of installing visual studio now 😉

Hey folks,

we had the same problem. Please check, if Windows already has a System Environment Variable named "PLATFORM" or "OSVERSION". You find them, when right-clicking on your desktop to My System (Arbeitsplatz) -> Properties -> Advanced -> System Environment Variables.

If you find any entry there, please write down the name and value and post them here. After deleting this entry (these entrys) and rebooting your system, the compilation should work fine!
