Build a unit string for money (e.g. $)

Background:It makes sense to have a unit string for cost (e.g. $) and conversion to other currencies

Question :Is it possible to define new unit string such as $ for cost calculations?

No.

(Of course there are many ways to program around it. Be aware that the conversion factors change at all times, so your code would need to be able to get the current exchange rate from the internet via some web API.)

Nothing new. They still exists. Just try a search! 😄

(Even google search has one built in. Just to a search for e.g. "100 aud in usd" and you get the result.)

Be aware that the definition of "Units" in this case, is "SI Units".  There are no SI Units for currency.
