How can I use buffered datasocket (old datasocket VI) in LV6.0?

I think this only works for LV7 but I could be wrong. I am not sure if LV6 is compatible with the data socket server that ships with LV7.

I found an example program that does buffered datasocket that will work with LabVIEW 6.0.
