Boolean Shared Variable with Scan Interface

Hi,

I am trying to pass values from my host vi to the rt vi (vi running on cRIO chassis) for my current project. I ma using the cRIO 9073 with NI 9213 and NI9401 modules.

When I create a shared variable on the cRIO I can successfully read the temperature values on my host PC. However, I have a boolean switch connected to a boolean shared variable on the Host PC but it does not update the DIO port on the chassis connected to the same shared variable. i.e. I have one way communication.

I am using labview 8.6.1

How have you configured the entire thing? It would be useful to post some screenshots of your code.
