We use LabVIEW 5.0 on Solaris 2.6 workstations. Sometimes the
Shell.Exec vi and the TCP/IP Open connection vi/function lock up our
system. Looking at the vi's under debug it appears these two functions
are blocking. The wires all highlight flowing into the nodes but every-
thing coming out is greyed. Once this happens if you hit the abort
button the application totally locks up and we have to execute a UNIX
kill command and restart LabVIEW.
I'll appreciate any help anyone will volunteer on this! Hints, tips,
suggestions and/or solutions will be greatly appreciated.
