Hello, I am working on a car diagnostic project. I am using a cDaq with CAN module.
To test the hardware I used an example program 'OBD Engine Monitor' .
This didn't work. I think the problem is the TRASMIT ID and RECEIVE ID . I searched in the Internet but i didnt find anything related to this values.
Hqs anyone faced this problem before?
Thank you for helping.

Hi hichem,
ask the car manufacturer for a CAN database to get the message ID and signal descriptions!
(When you want to test a truck you can search for J1939, nearly all trucks use the same message/signal scheme.)
What do you need our team of experts to assist you with?
Thanks!
We'll be in touch soon!
