Automatic Zooming

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi, forgive me if this was already answered/covered.

I'm currently working with an imaging system connected to a camera and was wondering if there was anyway to program within the block diagram a utility that could zoom in on the image without the need of a user (i.e. clicking on the magnifying glass and clicking). I'm trying to use the imaging system for a demo, and I would like to have as little manual interaction as possible. Any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using an imaq display? you can set the property node zoominteger or zoom single (X,Y cluster) so change the zoom from your code.

Sorry, I should have been more specific originally.

I'm currently using an IMAQdx display and Labview 8.5. Not sure if this would affect anything.

I tried looking for the property node zoom integer/zoom single under the NI-IMAQdx menu in Vision and Motion, but the property node does not show that function. Is this something found in later versions or a different type of display?

Thanks.

It is a property for the Image Control that displays the image, not an IMAQdx property.
