Associating an image with a Numeric Value

Does anybody know how to link an image with a numeric value. For example if an image of a quarter coin is selected using a file path. It should display a value of 0.25 in a numeric indicator. Any ideas on how this can be done?

It depends on what you are trying to do. Are you trying to have the system automatically recognize the image as a quarter and then decide that it is 0.25 or are you going to be opening that same image and have that as 0.25. If oyu are using the same image I would use a picture ring and save the pictures in it. When the user selects that image you would have the value for that picture so you could assign it a value.

It is a common control available on the tool palette. Place it on you front panel. You should be able to switch to the value you want. Using the menu at the top import image to clipboard and past it into the value you want. Switch the the next values and repeat.

Import to clipboard is under the edit menu. Then right click on the image text ring and select import from clipboard. There are also options for import before or import after in the right click options of this control.
