Assert RTS on PDA

I need to communicate with an instrument using serial communications from a PDA. The instrument requires asserting and unasserting the RTS line to place it in the proper state before beginning acquisition. This is easy in LabVIEW for Windows - using a VISA property node. But how do I accomplish this on a PDA, with no property nodes and a limited set of serial functions? The current target is Palm OS but I will be switching to PocketPC at a later time.

At this point, the LV PDA Module doesn't support lower level functions such as asserting particular lines. You can send and receive data using the serial port, but that is about it. You can call dlls using LabVIEW PDA Module. So if you can find the PocketPC (Windows CE) dll for serial communication, you can try to call them instead.
