Hi,
I'm pretty new to Labview, and I have been struggling to get it to work.
I was wondering if could get any help.
So I want to set up pulse to do as the attached graph
Just simply apply a voltage for sometime, then turn off, then apply voltage again, and repeat
Any help will be appreciated!

I'm using a hardware that's labeled "PCI-4461"
but I actually got the computer as the whole set, so I am not sure.
I actually was thinking, if it is easier, put square wave voltage and offset it so it goes from "0 to 2" rather than "-1 to 1"
If there is any good examples or any other possible solutions, I would appreciate it a lot.

The PCI-4461 has two analog output lines. Use one of them. Find examples of DAQmx analog output (Help menu - Find Examples). You can use the square wave generator function found in Waveform - Analog Waveform - Generation - Square Waveform.vi. This will generate a waveform data type which you can feed into the DAQmx write function. To create a square wave from 0 to 2v, set the amplitude to 1 and the offset to 1. Amplitude is not peak to peak, it is really the positive peak value (I wish NI would change this to be peak to peak). By setting the offset to 1, the signal will go from 1 to 2, then to 0, then to 2, and so on.

Hi Paaul,
The PCI-4461 is a part of our DSA (dynamic signal acquisition) family most often used for sound and vibration applications. DSA products use delta-sigma ADCs which utilize oversampling and averaging to obtain signal characteristics important in these applications but may have less absolute accuracy when compared to a multifunction DAQ device. There are also minimum data rates associated with DSA to account for the oversampling. Typically the AO on a DSA board is used to generate a stimulus such as for a frequency response test. Can you provide more information about your application to ensure all of your needs are addressed?
