Applie Biosystem Analyst AAO Microsoft COM with Labview

Hi everyone, I need some help here for using Labview to interacting with Applied Biosystems Analyst software with AAO supplied with the software. If anyone familiar with the Analyst AAO please give me some direction. Should I call functions directly from the AAO.dll library or there are other methods to do so? I can only see four functions from AAO.dll. Thanks

I am trying to do similar work.  Did you ever have any luck writing LabVIEW to work with the Analyst Software?

No, there is a bug in Labview that can not open AAO.  I worked with NI tech support for a while and could not resolve the issue.

Thanks for the quick reply.  So I am curious, did you get around the problem another way or did the project fade away at that point?

I have been forced to use VB.  The good thing is that the VB example program from Applied Biosystem helped alot.
