Application builder not able to open files

For some reason application builder is unable to access any and every file. Anyone else experience this:

As you can see the computer is greyed out - unavailable. What am I doing wrong?

so there are NO VIs in your project (apart from just one dependency, which is NOT a part of the project itself) - and you wonder why the AppBuilder doesn't show any VIs?
