A more flexible save format is in fact in the works. But also keep in
mind that LV7 to LV7.1 is a paid upgrade and isn't considered a minor
version. The number system in use for a number of years is that a
difference in the .0x are binary compatible, meaning that 6.02 VIs will
load and run in 6.0 even if loaded in the runtime without the compiler.
And likewise, 6.0 VIs can be loaded into 6.01 or 6.02 in the same way.
A difference in the tenths or ones is major and requires a recompile.
