Analog Output Virtual Instrument Not Found

I have added a virtual instrument for an analog output channel via MAX. the Generate 1 Point on 1 Channel.vi example finds my virtual channel. The attached small test LabVIEW program doesn't find that virtual channel. The only channels it sees are the TX virtual channels. What do I need to do to see the analog output channel?

Rick,

I noticed that on your DAQ Channel Control you have the DAQ Class set to "Analog Input". This is why your Analog Output channel is not showing up in the list. Change the DAQ Class (right-click and choose "Select DAQ Class") to Analog Output and it should work fine. Please read the LabVIEW on-line help for more information on the DAQ Channel Name Control.

Also, I recommend that in the future you post any DAQ-related questions to the DAQ forums, as you will hit a much more qualified and receptive audience to answer your DAQ-related questions.

Good luck, and have a pleasant day.

Darren
