i have to design an alarm reporting module.

in this, from acquisition module i will get the data and have to do some cases on that data and only alarm i have to logg.

for logging i will use text file

can u give me better idea about this

Yes after getting data, i have to check about alarm and events

how are getting the data

If the data is populated from many channels, then index the rpw or column of the array and then perform a check for the alram or event. may be you can average the array data (for every iteration of the acquistion loop) and then compare with the set data
