Add color mask to grayscale image

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,

We are acquiring in real time a grayscale U16 image through a CCD camera. I don't know the correct imagary term but, we want to add a color mask over it (so that the gray image gets an overal color). We don't want to modify the actual image file, just the display. The LabView version is 11.

Best regards,

look into imaq overlays.  These do not effect the data in the images.

sorry.

there are actually different palletts if you want to rescale the image color.  overlays just ride ontop of the image.

These are built into the imaq control with several color mappings included or you can make your own.

Thanks, overlays are exactly what what we're looking for.

Thank you very much.
