Activex method control for pdf

I am using activex to open some pdf files in my app. I am trying to figure out how to make the pdf file fit inside my container i.e. fit page. When I use Ian nvoke Node, under Method there are many choices. How can I figure out what each choice will do.
I have choosen "SET PAGE MODE" it is looking for a string input but I cant figure out what it is looking for. is there some where I can go to determine what options I have while using activex to control acrobat?

Try these options:
UseNone - Document displayed without bookmarks and thumbnails
UseThumbs - Document displayed with thumbnails
UseOutlines - Document displayed with bookmarks
Fullscreen - Document displayed in full-screen mode

I got them here thanks to Google:

I am using acrobat activex controls included with the reader. I have created a container on my front panel and have linked it to the acrobat activex control. I open up portrait and landscaped documents in the window. I am trying to set the document to fit inside the window no mater which type of document I open. I am unsure which method to use, layout mode, page mode or view. I have tried all of them with different strings ie. fullscreen,fitpage,fitscreen.... no luck

All I have is the Adobe Reader, so I can't test out the OCX, but I have an idea what your problem might be. According to the information on the webpage linked previously, you use should not be using the SetPageMode property (at the end of your code), but rather the SetLayoutMode property. Furthermore it appears that the FullScreen flag is defined as the number 4, so try using a string constant of "4" as the input. If that doesn't work then try the strings "FullScreen" or "3". Let us know how it goes and good luck!

I tried the new stings 3,4, and FullScreen using both layout mode and page mode with no luck. It didn't make any noticable difference. I tried the activex controls posted at http://www.visagesoft.com/products/pdfviewerx/ and they work great. However, this is a trial version and cost $200 for a full version. A little to expensive for my application. Any other suggestions?
