I am a student and was provided with an ActiveX control from my university to understand how ActiveX control works in LabVIEW. I installed the file and tried to added the ActiveX control to the ActiveX container but it was missing. I also registered the .ocx for both 32bit and 64bit registry. I copy pasted the files too in the respective folders. But nothing worked.
When I tried installing the ActiveX in another machine it worked perfectly fine and was visible in LabVIEW as soon as I installed it.
In my case the activeX control name is Ampel. But it is not visible in the list.
