Acquisition problem - property note (arg1)

Hello,

We are currently struggling with an inexplicable error on our acquisition system that apparently uses a National Instrument software to operate. (in attached file).

The system is a camera making step by step photographs and is usually controlled by a simple software to set the acquisition parameters of the pictures.

This is not compatibility problem as that system worked for many years already.

Whatever we are trying to do we can't get rid of that communication error between the different devices. The problem seems to be quite common nevertheless we cannot understand its origin despite having consulted different related topics on forums.

Any help and suggestions are welcomed 🙂 the community is our last hope !

Kind regards,

Xavier

Property nodes can be used to set a lot of different parameters of a camera. Does this happen after you edit a certain parameter?

In order to provide anything other than a guess (like "you are missing a wire at the VI 3 down and 2 across from the upper right corner of your third sub-VI"), I would need the following:

  • Version of LabVIEW and whether 32 or 64-bit.
  • Make and model of the Camera.
  • The actual code, all the code that is relevant.  Best would be to compress the folder holding the LabVIEW Project file and all of the VIs and sub-VIs that you've written, and attaching the resulting .zip file.
