Ack! I saved changes in a sub-vi! Now it doesn't work

I don't know how I managed to do this... I got click-happy I guess.

I changed the "Open/Create/Replace File" while trying to get it to work a little differently... then when I closed it I accidentally saved it (trigger finger was a little shaky dismorning)... tried restarting Labview and I think I may have really burned it into memory.

Is there anyway to revert back? Does anyone have a copy I can replace the bad-file with? I am using LV 7.0

The "Open/Create/Replace File" is just a VI that comes with LabVIEW. So when you saved it, it overwrites the original version on your hrad drive, so it's gone.

Since I'm not sure how NI would feel if I posted one of their VIs here, try dropping your LabVIEW CD in, and select Repair when the choice comes up. I think that will reinstall everything for you.

I am sure you have already learned your lesson, but for anyone else who is monitoring this thread, any time you even think about modifying one of the vi.lib stock VIs, save a copy with a different name and in a different location and then modify that one.
