AOTF

hi

i need to connect AOTF (AOTFnC-400.650-FIO) from opto electronic http://opto.braggcell.com/index.php?MAIN_ID=104 into a big system which i wouldlike to control with LABVIEW

The problem is that there is no driver that come with the AOTF for labview

What can i do in order to connect it? how can i learn about how to choose suitable driver and how to write it?

The data sheet doesn't suggest there is a digital comms connection to use, on page 2 there is a pin layout for the 15 way D connector. These could be interfaced with a DAQ device and controlled from LabVIEW.

do you think that i can trigger and manipulate the radio frequency and the intensity with labview?

Where can i learn more about the programming for that kind of applications?

on the spec sheet provided by AA opto-electronics along with the AOTF you can find a username and password for downloading the manual. You can use a regular Labview VISA write/read to communicate to your AOTF.
