AI read buffer won't work

I.m working with LV 6.1 in Win98, all example and my program work perfectly, but if I install the LV 6.1 in other computer (win2000),it always have this problem :
- the timeout light is turn on
- The Continuous Acquisition & Chart (or Graph) (Buffered) examples are never work well
- Continuous Acq&Chart Easy Immediate Acq and Hardware-Timed work well
I use the DAQPad-1200 for the device.
What is the problem, are the NIDAQ 6.9.3 not compatible with win2000 or winXP (I have try too for winXP)?
Did i miss something ?
is the ai read buffer.vi the problem, why ?
it seem that all buffered programs wont work, why ?
Please, help me, very urgent. I will thank you for your answer.

Nagara,

Sounds to me that the problem is related to the driver for the card, that version of LabVIEW and of NI-DAQ should work just fine in Windows XP. I would suggest you start by removing the hardware, uninstalling the NI-DAQ driver and reinstall it. After this just shut down the computer, plug the card back in and restart. Windows should recognize the board automatically and assign the driver. After this it is very important to go to the Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) and refresh the view (F5). Then I would open up some examples and test them, just make sure that you have the right device number. Just for you to know, the data acquisition VIs are installed by the driver, not by LabVIEW, so if you reinstall the driver you will renew those VIs.

I hop
e this helps.

Gazoo!

Thanx for u'r answer. I did try those move, but still it happens again. Oh, ya..the Windows doesn't recognize the card, so i install it manually. I've try to get the driver in NI for the new one, but they don't have it. Is there any other address or site to get the new DAQPad 1200's driver beside in site NI
