I think perhaps I speak for more than just myself when I say "huh?"
Bit more information is needed I think. Is your lead a wire? Does it contain
digital or analogue data, and how is it connected to the PC?
Is your "lead" a light emitting diode that you want to monitor without
making an electrical connection to the instrument?
Or something else entirely?
