8.6 Installation Problems

I have installed this massive piece of engineering code now on 2
machines and each time the machine has never quite been the same
again! I had to go into safe-mode and piss about for a long time to
get back again to normal.
On the other machine it kept re-booting when I installed the drivers
disks. I will try and stick with 8.2.1.
