3964R protocoll

I'm about to upgrade an old Basic program to a BridgeView program. The program
is communicating with a PLC (Siemens S5) via the protocoll 3964R. This protocoll
is suppoprted by BridgeView somehow, http://www.ni.com/opc/opcservers.htm
, but I cant figure out how...
Does anyone have a tips how this works or does anyone have a internetpage
about this?

Thanks!

Mathias,

1.You should get and install OPC server for your PLC from NI or from
your BV installation if you have Full or Professional version. OPC
servers CD available from NI or Siemens as well (recommend NI).
Instructions are usually included with server distribution.
2. Run Server Explorer and configure your tags as described in manual.
