lm3s1968 don't work

Hello

I have a problem with my lm3s1968 Evaluation Board. I can build and download applications to the device without problems. But the device shows no reaction! Also with labview examples. I use the EK-lm3s8962-USB target, is this the right way for my lm3s1968 device, because of other display size, other ports and so on?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Bernhard

I've already saw this post, but it's not really helpful for me. Let me explain that, when I use a simple example like "blinky", I can download this to the device I can start the VI, but nothing is blinking on the device. It's exactly the same with the OLED Display. I think it is something wrong in the configuration, but I can't find the failure.

Hi

I'm not a specialist for ARM and LabVIEW embedded, but I will do what I can and I hope I will find something in my Database

and I will ask some colleagues from me. You will hear from me soon.

Hi Kris,

Some of this documentation may be helpful:

ARM Devices Supported by LabVIEW: http://www.ni.com/white-paper/7066/en

Getting Started with the NI LabVIEW Embedded Module for ARM Microcontrollers: http://digital.ni.com/manuals.nsf/websearch/F35870C88A21EDEC86257884005AC97E

LabVIEW Embedded for ARM Porting Guide - Chapter 1: Introduction: http://www.ni.com/white-paper/6994/en

Because you are not using a Tier 1 device the porting guide should be most applicable to you.

Hi Craig

Where did you see that the lm3s1968 is a tier 2 device?

Hi

Follow the first link from Craig and you will see there only 3 Tier 1 devices. There are no more than this 3 Tier 1 devices. I searched for this information in the NI community.
If you want to use a Tier 2 device, so you have to follow link 3 from Craig.

Best regards

Bernhard
