SPARTAN-3E kit - '10/100 Ethernet Physical Layer Interface'

Hello,

I'm looking for using the '10/100 Ethernet Physical Layer Interface' on Spartan-3E kit with LABVIEW-FPGA. It seems the Spartan-3E kit with LABVIEW-FPGA driver doesn't support programming the Ethernet interface. Any idea to use (program) the Ethernet interface in LABVIEW-FPGA? For example, is it possible to use HDL node with Ethernet IP? Thanks in advance… Wedo,

No can do.  This is not functionality incorporated with the current driver for the Spartan-3E.  If you had some Xilinx IP that could interface with this, you could theoretically access it via a CLIP node, but i have a feeling it would be way more complicated than it's worth.  If you need LabVIEW, an FPGA and ethernet functionality you should probably consider upgrading to a cRIO.

you can use IP-Code or MicroBlaze from Xilinx and connect him with Labview (HDL interface)

THANKS FOR YOUER KIND FEEDBACK!

I WONDER, HAVE YOU TRIED THIS?

IT'S NOT EASY TO DO THAT AND I'M NOT SURE WHETHER THIS CAN WORK!

THANKS
