Bad 9234?

I am using two NI9234 together with a cDAQ-9174 to collect 6 channels of accelerometer data through MatLab. One of the 9234 is not being found or recognized after doing a

>> daq.reset

>> daq.getDevices

When I replace it with another 9234 it works, both 9234s are recognized.  Do I have a bad 9234 or am I missing something else?
