Hello all,
I am trying to create a program with Labview 2011 that will create 3 programs; 1) Will set the temperature to 25degC, make sure the thermotron is within the deviation, and wait some time to stabilize. 2) Will set the temperature to 53degC, make sure the thermotron is within the deviation, and soak for a time the user inputs. 3) Cools the thermotron back to 23degC.
This is the LabVIEW vi that I have written. I am having problems with the second program. Instead of going up to 53degC it is going down to 0degC. Any suggestions on why this is occurring?
BTW, I am using a 2800 controller.
Attached is my vi.

Also, ignore the temperature converter stuff. Not important.

Hello Rhowse,
Have you tried using probes to check all data passed through the VI? Maybe there’s something forcing it to go to 0 degrees instead of 50. You can also check if the configurations of the commands you’re sending are appropriate in order to get those results.
