sending waveform file to VXI instrument using VISA interactive control

I have a Racal 3152 Waveform Generator and I want to send a arbitrary waveform file to unit via VISA Interactive Control. I am able to communicate with instrument with most of the functions, however, I having difficulty loading a waveform. Steps per manual are:

:TRAC:DEF 1,4000 (defines work area)

:TRAC: SEL 1         (select active segment)

:TRAC #48000<binary_block> (transfers data to active segment)

This is where I get stuck. What is expected for <binary_block>? I want to download a 4k sine waveform. I tried making a file using WaveCAD 3.4 which comes with device, but how do I get this file downloaded into instrument?

I have not fully understood your question or the problem that you have. Could you post more details about it and any screen shoot that might help us understand the problem? Are you using LabVIEW?
