pxi-1045 doesn't detect modules after reinstall

I recently uninstalled and reinstalled LabView and MAX, and now my PXI-1045 doesn't detect any of the cards installed. I reinstalled all of the drivers and what not, but I can't seem to get the cards to come back up. Is there a step that I'm supposed to do?

There is a driver for the MXI interface to control the PXI chassis. I did not see you mention loading this. You will not recognize the PXI chassis without this driver.

I tried looking for this driver, and I can't seem to find just the driver for that. All documents seem to indicate that it should have been installed with VISA. What's odd is that even though MXI and the PCI bridge don't show up, one of the cards still does. I attached an image of what it looks like right now.

There's no MXI driver required to make the chassis show up in non-Express PXI.  There is a driver for MXI-4, but it's installed by VISA as you've seen.

Does Windows device manager show all the boards?  That will tell you if all the drivers are installed correctly.  If they all show up in device manager then it's a MAX configuration thing.  If not then we'll have to look for more drivers.

The CD's you need are "NI PXI Controller" and the "NI PXI Platform Services". You should be able to look them up for more details. Again the Labview and Max systems will not see the PXI chassis without one or both of these being installed. Make sure you don't install (or remove if installed) the PXI controller, so it does not conflict with the computer controller. So yes there is a driver for this interface.

So it turns out that even though I installed the drivers, Windows never associated them with the devices. I went in to Device Manager and it was cleared up within a few minutes. I feel like a fool for not trying that sooner. Thanks for your help.
