microstrain interfacing questions

Hi JP,

When you say you can see the measurements on your screen, does that mean everything is interfacing correctly? If you have your hardware working with LabVIEW, displaying it or writing it to a file should not be too hard. Does the instrument driver you downloaded from NI.com contain a VI to write data? Depending on what you want to do you can display the data on a graph or in an array on the front panel, or you can use the write to file VI to save the data to a text file.

Hi Josh,

The problem is the microstrain do not send always the same pocket of data, even if we have the sample rate set. I used "repack values" to have always the same chunk of data.

Because the data acquisition sample rate is 2048 hz and the node is 512hz, what will be the best option to resample the node to 2048 hz?

Thank,

JP

Hi JP,

I'm a bit unclear what the issue is here. It sounded like you could see the data just fine and wanted to save it to a file. Is this correct? From looking at MicroStrain's website, the 512 Hz sampling rate at the node is an issue with the hardware.
