labwindows for dos

I understand labwindows for DOS programs can be migrated to the latest labwindows 7.1 environment....But does that mean, if you do the conversion, you can still target DOS environments with in labwindows 7.1?

Simply put, can I target DOS with labwindows 7.1?

LabWindows/CVI applications require the LabWindows/CVI runtime engine. This runtime engine is, in part, a Windows shared library (DLL). DOS does not support using these types of libraries. For this and other similar reasons the current version of CVI does not support development for DOS platforms.
