I'm not sure, but I think the poster is asking if they can call a Visual Studio 2005 .NET assembly from LabVIEW 7.1 (though it could be the other way around). Not sure why it's posted in this forum, as this really belongs in the LabVIEW forum.
Officially, LabVIEW 7.1 supported .NET 1.1. Support for .NET 2.0 was added with 7.1.1f2 (I think that's the right version), but it wasn't very reliable. All access to .NET assemblies is done using the .NET functions in the .NET palette.
