hp871xb problem

I'm sorry about my last question. Thank you for any reply to my questions.

However, I still need to know the way for taking certain parameter (as example : Log mag, Phase) of the measured waveform using hp871xb driver. And also, I want to save the waveform to file of .txt type.

What is the last question you are referring to? Is there any background information that may be helpful?

If you are using LabVIEW, the Waveform Measurements and File I/O palettes may be what you are looking for.

I have tried the write to spreadsheet.vi in the file I/O function and I stored successfully the file I need.
But there is still a problem now.
May be I explain my work. I'm using hp871xb driver to control our measurement system which is using HP8714C network analyzer. At HP8714C there is a button to choose the parameter of the measured channel namely format button. Using this button manually, I could choose the log mag and phase of measured channel. I want to control this button automatically using my program in LabVIEW 7.1, based on hp871xb driver. How could I solve my problem ?

Hello fatoni,

I cannot even find the driver that you are referring to.  I would recommend looking through the manual to see what that button is called and then look through the VIs to see if there are any that address that button.  I would wadger that it is probably a configuration VI. Hope this helps!
