error 24

Hello,
In an application from the vi "Bytes at serial port", I get error 24. No problem normally, but my error-handling depends on it.
Does anybody know what this means and how to get rid of it.

The LV explain error 24 gave "...Warning 24 occurred at an unidentified location. Possible reasons: LabVIEW: Bad external code offset..." which is very helpful

The "Bytes at serial port" is old and I would encourage you to use VISA-serial instead. There are example VIs in LV that do serial comm. You can find them through the Help menu >> Examples.. >> I/O >> Serial.
