drivers for instruments

Hi everybody,
I have Labview 6i and I want to use some instruments like keith and agilent.
So I have to download the drivers and put them in instr.lib
But I dont find the link, or it was only for Labview version 7 or later!!! Smiley Sad
How can I do?
Please help

Those drivers can be saved for previous version by someone who has LabVIEW 7 to LabVIEW 6.1 and then from 6.1 to 6i
But try to get an update 6.1 is acceptable, we still use the workhorse 7.1.1 although we have licenses for 8.2
Anyway 6i and 6.0x are buggy versions so try to get one of the better ones.

thank you for answer Albert,

the problem is that I must work with the version 6 of Labview because the company to whose I'm working want to have a program that is compatible with the version 6i .

Do you think that if I write my programs on a later version of 6 that it works with 6i ?

Is there drivers for instruments i/o of a later version of Labview 6 ?

Thank you and good day.

Maybe you have a small problem when saving for a previous version but most drivers will work.
Are they also explicit about the version of VISA or only for version updates that cost money.

I would suggest that when they insist on keeping 6i you should ask more money for the work you do.

But keep in mind the real workhorses are 6.1 - 7.1.1 and probably 8.2.1
Although 8.2 seems stable enough but I only can judge stability when used more than a year

If you can find an IVI driver in the list, you can use it with conversion.  LabVIEW 6 has the "Import LabWindows/CVI Driver" feature that allows you to convert existing IVI (IVI-C) and/or VXIpnp instrument drivers machine-generating thier LabVIEW wrapper VIs.  You can try this approach if your instrument is supported by IVI or VXIpnp driver.  Mind that it assumes that the driver package comes with the compiled .DLL module as well as .FP and .H files.
