dmm 4065 external trigger pull down

does the DMM 4065 external trigger input (aux port on card front) require a pull down for a postive edge trigger?

misunderstood the external trigger, it is a pure digital input-rise time important, so I had to use a arb to simulate a actual digital input for just debugging the code.  The final set up wil use an digital output from  a daq card.
