Hi all, I am trying to get data from simple instruments like pH meters, etc..., with a serial port to usable data on an Excel spreadsheet. Are there data aquisition products out there suiting these needs?
Errr... You already have it: the serial port on your computer. You just need a driver for the instrument that allows you to communicate with it over the serial port so you can query the device for a measurement. Check the NI Instrument Driver network, or the manufacturer's web site to see if they have communication drivers for the instruments you're using.
