can't see GPIB in MAX after install of Labview 2012 and DAQmx 9.7

Hello,

We had been using Labview 2009 and an older version of DAQmx and decided to upgrade to Labview 2012 and the most recent DAQmx. We use a PCMCIA interface to talk to three PCI cards. After the new install, Measurement and Automation Explorer does not recognize our GPIB. MAX just shows a blank window rather than any info about the PCI cards or tasks. Device Manager recognizes all the PCI cards though, and our labview code still runs and interacts with the PCI cards just fine. Somehow MAX just can't see our interface, so we can't make any changes to the tasks that are still working (stored where and how I don't understand). We tried reinstalling DAQmx a second time with no better results. Any suggestions? Thanks,

-Mike

Did you also install VISA at all?

If yes:Check if VISA is still supporting your pcmcia interface. I may have seen that some old devices are not supported anymore,

In that case contact NI and ask which version still supports your device.
